Yep, it sounds like you have been hit by someone who is able to watch your stuff. I would send out an email to your friends, and then delete the account. Personally, I would actually just delete the account. It sucks, but I have numerous friends that I have had this happen to. Also this is why I use Firefox, and why I change my passwords often. Sorry to hear about someone hacking your account.

I have never come across any course about “ethical hacking” which was good. In my opinion, it is all a scam and a waste of money. To know all about security on Windows Server 2008 for example, you would need to know all about the operating system. You would need to be able to set it up, configure it and how to secure it. You would need to know everything possible, including all possible services, IIS, SQL, et cetera. Knowledge about network protocols, the OSI model, routing, et cetera are all required. Once you master all this, you will be a proper administrator. From here on you can develop yourself as a security expert, but this comes naturally. If you know how to do something well, you can also identify if something is not done well. If you know if something is not done well, you can find out how to abuse the mistakes made. This is how penetration testing for example works. What can an “ethical hacking” course teach in limited time? They cannot teach you all there is to know about every possible operating system. They cannot teach you all there is to know about every possible service. Networking protocols? Learning everything about networking would fill up the entire course ten times and would leave no room for “ethical hacking”. They can only teach you how to use certain tools for example, but without knowledge of the target operating system, how to set it up properly, knowledge of services, networking protocols, this knowledge is worthless. Most “ethical hacking” courses require no specific knowledge from any person who is going to do the course. If they do not require any of the before mentioned knowledge, how can the course offer anything useful? I have given various security awareness courses in the past, explaining how evildoers do their malicious work and I once had someone attending who said that what I explained, was what he got to hear at an “ethical hacking” course, in other words, the company he worked for paid for an “ethical hacking” course, but in fact the employee received a security awareness course at best. But this is how such courses work, as it would be impossible to teach someone how to “hack”. There are many kids who ask on forums: “How do I hack?”. The answer is: You cannot learn how to hack. The people who offer “hacking courses” will only have people as their clients who still believe that “hacking” is something you can learn. I have more than 15 years of experience in ICT security, I have done security projects worldwide. Trust me when I say that it would be better to spend your money on something else.
